Kas apmierināja

  • Scenārijs izmantots vārds vārdā, video 51 s (iekļaujas 1 min limitā), pauze pirms atbildes ir.
  • Kartītes atbilst stāstam: mērķis, pulkstenis 08:30, stacija, „LOW BATTERY”, laika ass „was waiting” + „received”, noslēguma uzdevums.

  • Subtitri pa 3–4 vārdiem („address when his phone”), A2 līmenim grūti lasāmi.
  • Laika asī „received” novietots virs stabiņa, nevis to pārtrauc, tāpēc pārtraukuma ideja nav skaidra.

Create a 60-second educational video (maximum 60 seconds) for adult learners of English (CEFR A2/B1). Topic: past simple and past continuous for an interruption.

NO AVATAR on screen. Use a voice-over narrator only (calm, friendly adult voice, clear British English, slow pace). The video must look like a sequence of slides: alternate full-screen images and full-screen text slides, with simple transitions.

Main character: Omar – the SAME adult man (about 35, short dark hair, business-casual clothes) in every scene. Show only Omar’s hands and face where he appears – no other people’s hands, no women holding the phone.

Use EXACTLY this script. Do not add, change or remove any words: [tas pats scenārijs kā sākotnējā uzvednē]

Slide plan: 1. Text slide: “I can explain an interruption: I was waiting when…” 2. Image: Omar waiting on a station platform, a clock showing 8:30. 3. Image: Omar looking at a new message on his phone (a man’s hands). 4. Text slide: “He was reading the address when his phone battery died.” 5. Image: Omar’s phone with a low battery screen. 6. Image: Omar and his colleague walking to the office. 7. Text slide with a timeline: a long bar “was waiting” and a short arrow “received” that CUTS THROUGH the bar. Text: “was / were + -ing = activity in progress · past simple = short action that interrupts it”. 8. Text slide: “What was Omar doing at half past eight?” then “He was waiting at the station.” 9. Text slide: “Your turn: tell your own story about a problem at work or on a trip.”

Captions: show each spoken sentence as ONE full sentence at the bottom of the screen (not 3–4 word fragments). Large, high-contrast text. Format 16:9.
